Hi team , newbie to all things cameras have a couple of questions, setting up the house with nvr ,modem, router. Have a pole that s 80metres away line of sight that has power , was needing to mount 3, 4k ip cameras on the pole cannot trench back to the house due to rock , what's the best way to send this signal back to the house, will one ethernet bridge handle three 4k cameras , also do I need two aps or can the router be one , also what would the wiring be for the camera pole do the three camera's go directly into a poe injector ... Thanks for any info

The model numbers in TonyR's diagram are a bit out of date (although still probably the cheapest if you can find them).

These are newer and will make more efficient use of airtime: Amazon.com: NanoStation AC loco 2 Units 5GHz airMAX CPE Radio 450Mbps Wireless Access Point Loco5ac with 2 Units PoE Included: Computers & Accessories

Find the equivalent in your country. Beware that some listings of these radios do not include the PoE injectors. They use a special non-standard PoE method that is 24 volt passive PoE.

They must be mounted outdoors, facing each other. For best results, mount them high enough that people and vehicles won't pass between them. They should have a clear line of sight between them, although at 80 meters you could get away with a less than perfect signal. Configure similar to TonyR's diagram.

You could configure a 5 or 10 MHz channel width at the upper or lower edge of the available channels and use minimum output power and therefore create less interference for your other 5 GHz radio activity. Smaller channel width means a slower link, but you only need about 24 Mbps anyway for 3 4K cameras (assuming about 8 Mbps bit rate from each of them). With higher channel widths, these radios will easily do 200+ Mbps.

As stated above, the Nano Loco's work for me. I have 6 cameras out about 80 yards and the system works great.
