I have a IPC-B52IR-Z12EB-S2 that I’m trying to use for night FR at a distance of 45-60 feet. Looking for advice on camera settings to achieve this. I’ve been dealing with significant ghosting or entirely too dark. Current settings (which i expect to be too dark, but will test tonight). Camera works fine during the day for this purpose.

AI SSA : Off
Backlight: Off

Using for what purpose?
Sorry Face Recognition??

A pic of the scene would be most helpful

Shutter of 1/2000 is way to fast if you have a normal night setting. That is what most of us use for LPR at night and just getting the plate illuminated. About 1/120 is normal for night time. You will have to balance getting a well illuminated shot with clean movement.

Forgot to add my settings

I have an added IR light with a 5442 shining on the drive that spills over into the street along with the Z4 lights, so added IR is helpful

Your ambient light may be different. I also have a very weak street light 100-125ft to the left of this view
