Does anyone know how I turn off the LED smart lighting on this camera? I have watched a video where it shows going into PTZ and in IRIS there is a Smart light setting but I cannot get into the IRIS, I click and nothing. This was the video I watched, I know it is not the same exact camera. . The light comes on at night and stays on all night.

That is an analog camera and not the 180, so different process.

Go into camera settings and it is called illumination (I think I need to open up and confirm LOL) and on the pull down select the off option.

What does defog mean?

Somebody told me once, I originally thought it was like a heater, but that cam is running plenty warm lol....

Defog is a digital fix during foggy and misty conditions that is supposed to clean the picture up by taking several images of different exposures and combining.

So it can improve a static image, but the processing of it is worse than WDR at high values so motion is usually crap.
