I have IPC-F22EAP camera and I configured it recently for the first time. Camera and Smart PSS software look OK but there are some confusing options and UI titles.
- Current fw version is 2.680.0000000.28.R (2022-12). There is update. Is it good idea to install it? I have bad experience with firmware updates in some cases and am cautious.
- Which ports are used for remote access to camera? App configuration needs only one port (usually 37777) but SmartPSS Network - Connect dialog shows UDP port 37778 as well. Is it necessary and is it always "base port + 1" i.e. 37777+1 ? If I correctly understand, menu Network - Connect is configuration of ports from camera side. I tried to redirect router port e.g. 5001 to 37777 and next 5002 to 37778 but there was no video. When redirected 37777/37778 to 37777/37778 port it started to work. But in case with more than 1 camera will be necessary more than 1 port.
- There is Link to Web button - what is its purpose?
- Is there risk for file system on SD card if camera supply is disconnected from time to time? (It is PoE)
- If SD card is full, is there automation to delete old files or recording will stop?
- What does Reset button?
