IPC-HDBW2831R-ZAS-S2 - WDR

Hi Guys,

I have deployed a number of the 2831 Cameras, namely the 1/2.7. The problem I am having is that it will not do WDR at 25 FPS, to run WDR the maximum FPS I can run is 15. Irrespective of the resolution size. Has anyone else come across this problem? The Firmware is V2.800.0000000.10.R, Build Date: 2019-11-23. I have a bunch of older cameras "IPC-HDBW4433R-ZS" which were half the price of the 2831 and do full WDR at 25FPS so i'm a bit disappointed with Dahua...

I recently reviewed a 2831 here:

As far as I can tell it will only stream 8MP at 1-15fps at max resolution. This is common with 4K cameras currently.

Video Frame Rate

Main stream: 3840 × 2160 (1 fps–15 fps) 2688 × 1520 (1 fps–25/30 fps)

I am actually running the camera at 4MP, 25FPS is still not available when WDR is enabled. If i disable WDR or switch it to BLC/HLC it allows me to use 25FPS.

Sorry forgot, just did it.

So, At 8MP it will only allow 15FPS as expected and per specs/

At 4MP I was able to maintain 30FPS with WDR on and changing Exposure to various settings..

1- Before enabling WDR

At 8MP only 15FPS Max allowed

do you happen to know where i could get that firmware from ?

I don’t it’s what cane on it. Perhaps check with Andy’s forum ..
