Here I'm back again with SD-card issues. I'm about to install my IPC-HDW2431T-AS-S2 (that I won from Andy; see: IPC-HDW2431T-AS-S2 - Dahua Technology) but the camera is giving me SD-card errors.
I use a brand new SD-card and formatted on my laptop before installing it in the camera but the camera says:
When I try to format it in the camera's webinterface it gives me the usual "Data will be cleared. Are you sure to continue formatting?" and when I click yes it gives me:
"Format Failed! The device is restarting now, please reconnect later... "
I've tried another SD-card, same issue. I'm pretty sure I physically installed the card correctly (honestly, it can't even fit in another way). The camera logs says after I installed the card:
So the camera recognizes the card and shows no other errors.
This camera will be placed on a chicken coop behind a wireless connection (cable is unfortunately no option) and will be recorded on my NVR 24/7, but because of the wireless connection, I wanted the extra security of the recordings on the SD-card.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
