I have a IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV
I tried to update the firmware to DH_IPC-HX3XXX-256-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.32.R.250115 through web inrterface. I extracted the zip file

firmware-x.squashfs.bin
web-x.squashfs.bin
CellularFirmware_EAU_nl668_update.bin
CellularFirmware_LA_nl668_update.bin

I passed CellularFirmware_EAU_nl668_update.bin,CellularFirmware_LA_nl668_update.bin
web-x.squashfs.bin updated without problem|
firmware-x.squashfs.bin caused brick of the camera
It seems that camera restarts continually. Ping the default 192.168.1.108 Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
It appears uninitialize in config tool but disappears before I complete the initialization
In a case or two i managed to enter the web interface with the browser the button labels (next) and some letters were corrupted.
I also tried to reset with the reset button without any luck.
Any help will be much appreciated
 
There are several Versions of the IPC available. Which are you using: S3, S4, S5 ?
I believe you have now an expensive paperweight !
Perhaps a FTP upload will help - tbc.

none of those files are not for UPDATE over web interface for Your camera!!!
Only DH_IPC-HX3XXX-256-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.32.R.250115.bin is proper firmware binary file for web (or config tool) upgrade.

Question is this firmware exactly for your camera model (there are many generations of this cam - you didn't wrote which one you have)..

Normally wrong files should be not accepted over web interface. But it looks in Your case you used wrong file and bricked cam.

You can try to unbrick cam over rs232 / tftp - but this requires a knowledge how to do it.. plus some cables / tools...

I have a poe NVR. I tried
powering camera with poe switch and powering with an 12V power supply. Both power up the camera.
I connected camera with router and directly to pc
S/N AE03537PAG53C1E
P/N 1.0.01.04.42427

When I power up the camera, I have a 10-20 second window to access the camera. In that window, I managed to initialize the camera and change its IP .
I wish there was a way to update firmware using the SD card

cameras. I have only a 10-20 second window after I power up the camera (no connecting and disconnecting the ethernet cable) . Then 192.168.0.171 can't n be accessed via browser , can't be found in config tool or poe NVR

one more time - you bricked camera with improper / incomplete firmware update...
first stage looks ok - linux & network stack loads correctly...
problem is with second stage (Dahua software)..


you can try to find manuals in internet how to recover camera firmware over tftp or rs232..

Or simply send camera to Dahua service in your country. They can recover camera by small fee
