Question on this model:

Is this a chinese model then: IPC-HDW4431C-A?

If so, what are the risks of buying and using this? No official firmware support in english? No support at all? Is a clone/knock-off version?

Would like to get this for an indoor small room.

Thanks in advance.

I have 3 of them. I haven't had any issue yet.

I've changed the lenses in 2 of them:

12mm lens:
Stock 3.6mm lens:
At night using 8mm lens:
IMO, its not really good in the dark, or I may have to play with some settings.

Like the IR performance of it is pretty grainy? blown out IR or not enough?

How difficult was it to replace the lens? i've heard of that being possible, but i guess never read into it.. the lens you get to replace them, are they easily available?

There is this dome version and a bullet version correct?

Plastic mount (vs metal), no SD capability, and no English firmware are some of the ones I've read.

I have the turret version. It gets pretty blown.

just costs little more to get the original english ones, sometimes will bring headache. seems dahua is making a plan to freeze all the Chinese cams using overseas. just a decision by the boss.
