The camera above seem to have the same if not close specs? Is one better than the other base on spec and image/video quality?

I have a 5231R-Z and a 221R-ZS. To me, with my aged eyes, the 5231R-Z has a better picture than the 2231R-ZS. That is not to say that the 2231 has a bad picture at all, in fact it, too, is quite good. To me it's more of a budgetary question than anything else or if I want audio from a specific location.
I have one original fixed-focus 4231 turret and one varifocal 5231 turret, and soon to receive the newer 2231 varifocal Starlights without audio. I'll add my observations as soon as they arrive and get installed outside.
The image quality is the same, the image sensor is the same, the lenses are different. The varifocal 5231 allows you to select the exact field of image you desire by zooming in or out. With the fixed focus 4231, you select a specific lens, 2.8, 4.0, 6.0mm and live with the image you can get.

DHL says they'll deliver the cameras today. Weather and cold virus permitting, I’ll have some pics up later today.
Weather cleared up, sun's out, and nagging cold virus be damned. I hung the first one this morning, and the picture quality is nothing short of incredible.
Added two nighttime pictures, one with the garage lights on, and another with them off.
