I have a IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E to read license plates. It is temporarily mounted in the front yard which is angled so water flows down to the street. I am going to permanently mount it using concrete and PVC pipes. I am a bit concerned when doing this that I don't get the angle quite right. I can adjust the camera up/down (I am already at a right angle so more up than down so I will put the PVC pipe in leaning a bit forward). However, it seems I can't really adjust the rotation of the camera (turn it around it's field-of-view axis). Is there a way to do this or is it really just the up and down I can adjust? I looked at the user guide but couldn't find anything to adjust the rotation, just up and down. If you look at the "ball" to adjust the up/down position it does seem to be split in two, though. So it appears that could be adjusted.

It has full 360 movement, you just need to really loosen the locking screw. For big adjustments, I loosen the screws on the other side inside the support bracket to get it close then tighten those back and then use the locking screw for fine tune adjustments.

Thank you! That works indeed. It's a bit hard to adjust the rotation (along the viewing angle) as the mount to the camera rotates first. You have to try a bit to actually have the ball head rotate but it works.
