Thank you! Got new Dahua 5442 and flashed new firmware without any problem.
The only question I have about "algorithm authorization failed. please import license". I did try to use Sync PC as it was previously recommended in other posts but it didn't work for me. Any other idea's how to fix it?

This has completely broken snapshot functionality for me on MD & IVS events to my local FTP, video recording works dandy though. No indicator of an error anywhere. Was working just fine on previous firmware. Can anyone else confirm?

Important!!IVS failed and Triangle warnning issue Solutions for 4MP AI models

These days we get some complaint about the IPC-T5442TM-AS(Same series, 4Mp AI models) IVS failed and Triangle warning. This happens after some cams updating. Here is the instruction for fixing up, please follow it and send email to me. Thanks to @bigredfish testing out and all guys' waiting...

make a default after update, this model has a newer firnware, will release it soon.

Thanks for the quick response, Andy.

I did a factory reset after the update, still didn't work properly. I downgraded back to the previous firmware and it's working again so I guess I'll stay on that until a newer gets released. Thanks for your help!
 
From now on, dahua put all 5 series cameras into 1 firmware on this version IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.17.R.200620

So, bullet as well as turret (such as B5442E-ZE and T5442TM-AS) , will use the same fw ?
 
Andy, I tried this firmware on my IPC-B5442E-ZE and it said it was invalid. Which firmware should I be using for that camera? Thanks

No, I tried using the 16.R release that is in this post. Where do I find the 17.R release as I dont see it. Thanks

For most basic setup HTML5 is fine but for many things I still prefer IE with plugin e.g. drawing tripwire rules in full screen or watch if they work properly is still missing in HTML5 client.

IVS and drawing tripwires works fine in HTML5 for all my Dahua cameras. What model camera and what firmware version are you being forced to use a plugin for?
