IPC-T2431T-AS - plastic base

I've just installed IPC-T2431T-AS and noticed its base is made from plastic and has a quick release button (unlike other cameras that has screws).
How do you protect the camera from being stolen (except for mounting it very high)?

Funnily enough I was looking at mine today thinking about putting it on a 203 mount to get better position and wondering the same thing!

mines inside a building so no concerns about theft but it does seem to be a flaw in the design?
