IPC-T5442T-ZE Firmware Upgrade Issue

I just tried to upgrade the firmware for the IPC-T5442T-ZE. I haven't updated the firmware since I bought it from Andy in 2023.

I downloaded the latest firmware from his website Download Firmwares . I used the no smart IR version. After updating, I got this error:



How to fix this?

The general thinking on the forum about firmware is " if it's not broke, don't fix it"
people have mixed results with firmware upgrades.
there maybe a solution coming from a more experienced Forum user check back in a bit.

There are several files you need to upload, including the one called firmware.bin



But as pointed out - is there a release note that indicates it is fixing a problem you are having?

I uploaded the multi language file and it seems to be working now, thanks.

Yes, the algorithem on the old cameras sometimes if have big time gap on the firmware, will need the firmware.bin to make the update and then fix up the warnning.
