The AS is a fixed lens and the ZE is a varifocal. Unless you know the fixed length works for your intended goal that is fine. Most will opt for the ZE as it provides much more flexibility and better range.
Buy one ZE model. Use it to test your six locations to be sure that you get the FOV you want. You can calculate the fixed lens equivalent using the ZE cam. You may find that you can get by with fixed 2.8, 3.6, or 6mm versions. A little better low light performance. If not then buy the other 5 ZE cams. Walk your test spots day and night.
