Are the NVRs running custom firmware or just stock Hikvision?
If custom firmware can they be changed to stock US Hikvision firmware?

They are running stock US Hikvision firmware.

Thanks I just got mine yesterday and fired it up to add some cameras.
Can they be upgraded to generic Hikvision firmware?
I noticed it’s just generic non branded and I think there is a newer update on the Hikvision website for this.
I have the 8 channel that was offered on this sale. I believe it’s the same as a Hikvision 7608NI-I2 ?
Just want to make sure I don’t brick it.

It is the same as the 7608NI-I2 and you should be able to update it without issues. However, if you want to play it safe I am going to contact Hikvision regarding the update.
