Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Dahua camera where the IR LEDs don’t activate in Night mode, even though the image switches to black and white. The scene remains dark because the IR LEDs are not turning on, and one part of the image (center and top-center) appears blurry.
Here’s what I’ve observed and tried so far:
1. The camera is set to Night mode, and the image switches to black and white, but no IR light is emitted.
2. I’ve adjusted the Illuminator Mode to both Manual and On, and set the Brightness to 50, but the IR LEDs still don’t activate.
3. I’ve covered the lens and light sensor completely to simulate total darkness, but the IR LEDs don’t turn on.
4. The top-center area of the image appears blurry, while the rest of the scene looks relatively sharp.
The camera is installed in an area with some ambient light (from a streetlamp), but I would still expect the IR LEDs to activate when the camera switches to night mode.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem or can offer advice on what might be causing this? Could this be a hardware failure with the IR LEDs or something related to the light sensor?
Thank you for your help!
