Is a Main group needed?

I have had my system for some time now, but I was watching a video and the guy said to make a group called main. Is this really needed? I have just been using all cameras to this point. Thanks.

Only if you set up other groups and you want to switch views between all the cameras and then subsets.

Or limit the viewing of certain cams by other users that you've created a username for them to log in with.
