is it possible to take snapshot in tripwire application in dahua cameras and send to a server by ftp or some other means?

I have activated the tripwire application in dahua application, checked the snapshot, configured the FTP (local network). I am able to save the entire recording, but I am not able to save the snapshot (i don't even know if it takes a snapshot). To check if it takes snapshots I integrated an email alert, but I don't get an alert every time someone crosses the line.
