I have connected the IMOU Cruiser 10MP Dual Lens Camera to a Dahua NVR, but I'm experiencing an issue where only the PT lens motion detection recordings are being stored on the NVR. There is no playback or recorded video of motion detection/human detection for the fixed lens. Could anyone please provide a solution to this problem?

Channel 4 does not have SMD enabled so no human detection, just regular MD is enabled

Also on image #3, the Schedule. that shows channel #1, is channel #4 set to record in the Schedule?

Thank you for looking into the issue. I've tried enabling human detection on Channel 4 (which is the fixed lens of the Cruiser Dual). Every time I enable it and click OK, it says the settings are saved successfully. However, when I refresh the page, I see that all the settings I've done for Channel 4 are disabled again.

For image 3: schedule set to same as channel 1.

What browser are you using. All Dahua equipment is browser sensitive. Needs to be IE or Edge in IE mode

And can you show the playback timeline on the NVR? Are you certain it isnt recording?

Hmmm
Usually if you can SEE both channels you can record both channels.

It’s possible that second channel does not support SMD. Dahua has a number of dual lens cameras that only one lens supports AI

Thank you for helping me with the issue. I removed the camera from the NVR, re-added it, and reconfigured the settings. Now everything seems to be working fine. Both lenses are recording and playback is available.

I find it quite interesting that the IMOU Cruiser 10MP Dual Lens Camera still seems to use the Dahua API with seemingly no limitations and is fully supported by the NVR. In Germany, you can currently get the IMOU Cruiser 10MP Dual Lens Camera for around €80 and even though the technical data and quality certainly cannot be compared to a Dahua Dual Lens Camera, I am actually considering getting an IMOU Cruiser 10MP Dual Lens Camera - just for fun - to test it with my Dahua NVR. :)

Even in the videos that you can find of the Imou Dual Lens camera, it doesn't make such a bad impression.
