Issues with Blue Iris finding Amcrest SmartHome Camera

Needed a cheap outdoor camera to monitor our pets for my daughter so I grabbed an Amcrest SmartHome ASH22.

I have two other Amcrest cameras, both wireless, connected and recording 24/7 on Blue Iris. Setup was simple enough and no issues. I set up both of these cameras through their related IP address in a browser.

I used the Amcrest SmartHome App to get the new camera connected to our wifi and can view it with no issues through the app only. I made the IP address static in our router. Haven't been able to find the camera when searching with Blue Iris.

I then used IP Config to find the IP address. If I directly input this into BI, it can't connect. If I put the cameras IP address into a browser, it won't connect either.

In my search I found other posts with the same problem but no one posts what they did to resolve this if they were able to. Bad unit or am I doing something wrong?

My Amcrest doorbell has a 192.168.1.17....It's a Static Address, logging into a browser at that address results in Nothing. nada, zilch, zero.
I was able to add it to BI using the " Find/Inspect" button in camera settings. you need to use the same Admin and password in BI that you setup on the Smart Home App.
here are 2 images of the Amcrest setup either with the AD110 selection from the drop down list, and one with the " Find/Inspect" menu.

Yes I had done all those and nothing. BI still can't search and find the camera.

A 5th try of entering the IP and login directly into BI resulted in it finally connecting. Not sure what I did differently or what made the difference. Even unplugged the camera several times and it auto reconnected fine and started recording again.

I still can't access the camera through a web browser which is frustrating. I'm not able to change some of the settings.

The newer Amcrest SmartHome App has been easier to use than their old one but appears very limited. Even though I have the pet cam recording 24/7 in BI, my family is able to use the app to view the pets at any time. Since they're happy, I'm happy....so far...

No Amcrest Smart Home camera has a Web UI. Normally, only SH app should be used to change SH camera settings.

Using Amcrest Surveillancce Pro, I have changed some video encode settings in ASH21 SH camera that are not in SH app. Amcrest View Pro app can also change some video encode settings. But use caution. I remember someone a few years ago apparently bricked a SH doorbell camera trying to change some picture settings like brightness or contrast using Surveillance Pro.

Thanks jack7 I was thinking I would take a guess and say that maybe the Smart Home devices do not have a Web Login, but I didn't have the facts.
