Hi Everyone

My config are as follows

NVR DS-7616-NI-Se/p with 8 cams

I have successfully forwarded the requested ports and i can access the NVR externally with the address http://abcxxxnoip.me
but when i configure it with Ivms 4500 and selecting Ip/domain and using address as abcxxxnoip.me and proper 8000 port it only says connection failed

But if i use the external IP address instead of abcxxxnoip.me it works fine.

I can't use the IP address indefinitely as it is not a static one and thus the reason to use noip.com

I have tried also another settings and register the DDNS www.hik-online.com but it will always failed when trying to save the settings

Some help will be much appreciated

I've never had a problem using HiDDNS.

Does it accept your DDNS name when you enter it into your NVR DDNS settings?

When setting up IVMS-4500 select HiDDNS for Register Mode and only add your name part of your address in the Device Domain. For example, fredericfrancois

Is it possible that the name has already been taken?

I've seen that before.

Add a couple of numbers at the end and see if it will register.

Also check your ports are all forwarded properly.
