I don’t use Hik Connect… my traffic is local only (or at least local via VPN).
I do use iVMS-4500 on my iPhone, and it gets the job done.
What I haven’t been able to find is a true iPad version… is there one? It would be nice to use the bigger screen sometimes. Yes, technically I can double the size of the iPhone app and it “runs” on the iPad, but that’s clearly not the same thing. Big screen and high res would be nice for the 4K cameras.
I thought I even read somewhere that iVMS-4500 may be getting retired? Yikes.
Or… am I wrong, and Hik Connect actually can manage cametas locally only (blocked from the internet) like iVMS-4500 can?
