Three questions
1) IVMS 4200 Client VS IVM 4200 PCNVR
please clarify the difference??
2) IVMS-4200 Client Decoding Server
How do you add the device and get it to work? I tried to set up the video wall but when I added the decoding server it would not find any devices. Am i suppose to start a service for it first, if so where is the option for this?
I have tried both and both leave me scratching my head as I must be missing something.
3) which one do I use:
I have a dedicated pc running windows to act as my NVR. Which software product of the 2 listed should I use.
I want the software to help my cameras save all video to my connected NAS.
I also want the software to enable the video wall function so I can stream the cameras to my TV in my house.
I am able to save to my NAS with both software products.
PCNVR does not allow me to set up a video wall from what I have seen so far.
IVMS Client does allow me to set up a video wall HOWEVER when I add a decoding server I have a problem as it does not decode yet the product sheet does say IVMS-4200 client does provide video decoding for video wall. I must be doing something wrong in this step.
I prefer the client over PCNVR but I am making a mistake somewhere in the client I think when I add the decoding device.
Any tips anyone on what
