IVS - lost with calibration

Using SmartPSS for configuration of IVS
No NVR


Im trying to improve IVS alerts by adding rules on my front gate ,

I create 2 rules(tripwire) for the gate - see in read :
Gate Cross from left2right --> some1 enter
Gate Cross from right2left --> some1 left

For "Garbage " - see marked in black i set "Intrusion"

it miss many events (where some1 crossed) ,
I tried working with calibration tool under SmartPSS but couldn't find any Info
for how or why it actually needed .


See in second picture - it asks for a minimum of 3 vertical staff and one horizontal staff
I draw them without any real meaning as i don't really get how to set it .
there's also the V-Measare and H-Measure which also not clear to me ...

Can some1 clear out how to use the calibration and how it can improve the triggering of an event?
or refer to some documentation ?

Is the Detection region screen (see 3rd picture) is relevant in IVS?
i'm asking casue basically all the rules based on line cross ,
so why the detection region setup is required?

I notice that even when event triggered there's 1-2 second of delay in snapshot so it actually missing the point .
is there some configuration for snapshot speed?
should i use less IVS rules on the camera to improve snapshot speed?
(currently have 4 IVS rules on this camera)
