Hi all,

I've set up IVS to trigger camera audio and lights when an object appears, but nothing happens.

IVS is triggering correctly as I can see notifications and logs but audio and lights just won't work

Have you come across this issue, and what is the solution to fix it?

Camera: Dahua DH-IPC-PDW3849-A180-AS-PV
NVR: DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI/ANZ-4T

SMD: Disable

Thanks

Need to see screenshots and video examples of it triggering.

Did you set up the IVS in the NVR or the camera GUI?

It needs to be done in the camera GUI, not the NVR GUI.

IS the camera / NVR armed or disarmed?
Event->One-click disarm - when enabled and camera/NVR are disarmed, it blocks selected linkage actions (like audio linkage or warning light)..
IVS works, but don't execute blocked linkage actions (due disarm status)..

also You can try to enable SMD - some TIOC features are very depended on SMD..

Hi Tankcat00,

Try these few things below.

On the NVR > Alarm > Disarming > Disarming is set to CLOSE. (See attached screenshot)

NVR > AI > Parameters > IVS > Have selected checkbox Camera Audio & Light for the camera channel. (See attached screenshot)

Also check these below settings but as you are receiving the push notifications these should be configured correctly.

NVR > AI > Parameters > SmartPlan. - The bulb needs to be switched ON for the IVS rule to work.

You have to use SMD even with IVS?

Talked me right out of trying one

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the input. I managed to get it working.

It was the Alarm Linkage from the DMSS app that stopped the lights and audio to work. Once disable, it was working as intended.

I have 2 rules for the IVS

One during the day when the audio and lights are not active and another rule during the night when both are active

I have also disabled SMD and Motion Detect on all cameras as I think IVS rules is a better fit for my requirements

Cheers!
