Jennov j-series NVR local connection

Hello,

I recently got a Jennov j-series 10 channel NVR. Link here: Outdoor WiFi Security Cameras System, AI Human Detected, Surveillance NVR Kits

I want to be able to view the camera feeds from my local network, either with an app or through a browser. But it seems that the only way I can view the stream is directly on the NVR when it's connected to a monitor. I will be using this in a place which doesn't have internet access so I can't use the cloud streaming feature. I need to be able to view it on the local network.
When I go to the IP address of the NVR in my browser, none of the camera channels show up after I log in.
Also, I am not sure where to find firmware updates for this NVR, I tried to look on the Jennov website but I can't seem to find anything.

Can anyone help please?

Some of these things are browser dependent.

Try Pale Moon or Internet Explorer (yeah we know but many of these systems are still centered around it) is still available and Windows still uses features of it.


How to enable native Internet Explorer in Windows 10 and 11:

1. Open Notepad:
2. Copy then paste the single line of code below into Notepad:
3. CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application").Visible=true
4. Save as OpenIE.vbs
5. Make sure the the file name ends in .vbs not .txt, If it ends in .txt you must rename to .vbs
6. Create a shortcut to the above file and double-click it anytime you want native Internet Explorer
7. Download any of the plug-in the NVR or camera asks for.

Thanks wittaj. I did manage to get it working through internet explorer. It's annoying that I have to use Windows and internet explorer. I would have liked it to have had an app or something that i could use with an android tablet or something. I'm gonna return this because it's not suitable like this, unless anyone knows of an android app that works with this NVR without needing internet?
