Joystick with Imporx V2 ptz 10X

Hello,

I've bought the Imporx V2 ptz 10X few days ago, good ptz cam for the price.

I use iVMS 4200 or an NVR Hikvision DS 7608NI-I2 8P to control it with mouse, but now i'd like to control it with a Joystick.

My question, what kind of joystick i must use to control it ? Protocol Hik ? must use RS485 or USB is enough ?

I try with my Axis 295 usb joystick but no works, i'd like to use too the auto tracking with Ivms or with the NVR, but not found how to

I assume you need to know protocol it uses but this type?

it should if your Hik has a RS485 port on it.. it says it talks Hikvision, which is what your NVR is going to expect from a joystick.. as long as your Hikvision is properly controlling the PTZ via OnVif

The problem is that we don't have RS485 in general on our PTZ cam, like on my ptz 2mp 20x imporx. I don't know if i can put a RS485 joystick on my Hik DS 7608NI-I2 8P, if the nvr can control the cam by software.

I test my Axis joystick on ivms 4200, but impossible to use it correctly, cam is uncontrollable, maybe too much delay, too much cam.

Yes, it's really a good cam for the price.
I'm on reflection to buy the mini ptz 10x 2mp in huisun or imporx. V1 or V2..

Have you looked at hikvision usb joystick? Ds-1005ki hopefully it would work as I'm after a joystick for my hikvision nvr
