I want to have all cameras take a JPG snapshot at exactly 12 every day

In the JPEG setting it looks like I can only set to "each m:ss.s", and not a time.

Is my best bet to just go do it at 12 as fast as I can and set it to 24 hours?

I'll have to look into that, I setup it up with BI and now I'm confused

I set this up yesterday at this time, and put 1440 in the time. That should have given me a snapshot today at around 11am (Since 1440 mins in 24 hours)

What I got, was a snapshot from every camera right at midnight...

any idea how this works?

It is described in the help file somewhere, but basically if you put in a nice easily divisible time frame, Blue Iris will align it with the tick of the day/hour/minute or whatever. To get a snapshot at exactly noon, I think you would need to use a 12 hour interval, or 720 minutes. Of course you also get one at midnight then.

BI also has scheduling functions so you might be able to schedule the thing you want to happen at noon every day.

Wow, thats some poor software design

I'll give 720 a shot, if nothing I'll try another solution for this

Thanks!

Okay so 720 takes a clip every 12 hours, I get one at night and one in the day.

But I reached out to support, and there is a much better way to do this. Go on the camera settings, go to schedule, go to event schedule

The images go to whatever folder is set under JPEG for record
