If you have more than one BI installation and use remote to access the other BI instances, change your DeepStack URL on each instance to point to the actual server name vs. the default 127.0.1 address. The default causes DeepStack testing / diagnostics to run on the local machine rather than the BI instance actually running the cameras. Had me really confused for a while. I might have missed it but I didn't see this mentioned anywhere.

PS: I was a long-time BI user until I had severe stability problems back in the 3.x days. I went over to Luxriot when I could not get BI to stay running for more than a day or two. Luxriot is a really really good free NVR, but if you want any of the advanced features you pay through the nose. BI gives you all the advanced features for a far better price (think 1/10th or less). I've been testing BI 5 for about 2 weeks and decided to purchase a few copies and replace my Luxriot installs. I'm back and tinkering like crazy.
