Hello,
I finally replaced my Wyze cams with 3 5MP Amcrest cameras IP5M-T1179EW-28MM model.
However, I found that when I go to the Status page, all 3 new cameras show 0.50, but the Amcrest Doorbell shows it as 1.00.

Why would the cameras which are better quality show as 0.50?
Is there a setting I need to change or is this normal for these type of cameras?

Under the Video tab, make the frame rate and I Frame the same. Some of the Dahua/Amcrest cams default to making I Frame 2X which then = .50 that you see there.

You need to access the web GUI of each camera and make the changes there. There should be a "video" type category where you can set frame rate, iframe rate, resolution, encoding and so on. The frame and iframe rates need to match, 15/15 for example, to produce a "key" rate of 1.

Noticed this message on the camera GUI - I tried using 8000 and 16000 and still get the error.
Do these settings look ok or should I change it to something else?

Also..
@sebastiantombs - you said yesterday to change the interval rate from 40 to 20...what about the sub stream?
Should I also change it to 20?

Yeah, As far as I can see, my amcrest AD110 doorbell cam Shown at the bottom, X.X.X.17 has a lower I-frame rate, ( default) haven't screwed with it as far as I can remember. I don't think it's adjustable?Screenshot 2022-01-25 193015.png

Even the POS DB1C lets you set the frame ad iframe rates so I would think the AD110 would as well given it's a Dahua under the hood. Now, whether or not the DB1C actually holds those rates....

As far as the error you're getting at higher bit rates the CPU, such as a camera has a CPU, may be overloaded by the higher bit rates and can't do everything at once. SOething has to give so it drops the audio out.

It's ok. I port the audio from doorbell in Blue iris (learned from Looney2ns, ) to another camera in the Driveway. So now my POS analog Nightowl turdCam, has audio.
I have a 5231 z12 sitting here, a 5442 as LED 28 MM, and misplaced that other one that came in a box with BNC to RJ-45 adapters. Plus a 8 Ch. Amcrest 4108,
Need weather better than -5 to even think about messing with the home system. I may run both NVR;s initially and when I get ebough IP cams I'll take the Analog system offline,
and start a bonfire. and burn the Nightowl recorder.
