A separate question: Does anyone know how DDNS works on this system? I am trying to access remotely from the app without a static IP. I want DDNS to keep updating the app with the new IP address when it changes. I have registered my domain at laviewddns.com but need the app to update the IP by itself. I see HiDDNS as an option for register mode when I try to set up the cameras in the app. Is this what I need to use in order for it to update? I wasn't sure if that option was exclusive for Hikivision branded cameras.
