I have the following DVR model: DS-7104NI-K1 / W/M(C) with firmware updated to: V4.30.065 build 211111. I would like to run live preview and recording playback through my Chrome/Firefox web browser on linux. Before updating the firmware, I got notifications about need of installing the plugin dedicated for IE. After firmware upgrade this request is no longer displayed, but both: live preview and recordings playback is still not working. Within web browser console, after clicking playback, I can see that it fails on:
I tried to see whether the port is open using telnet but it seems to be closed as telnet fails with connection refused:
Is there anything I can check? Should I use different version of the firmware?
