Logo in the middle of the screen

I have a problem with Iris. It works well but the lauching logo stays in the middle of the screen.

does it say "Blue Iris Evaluation Version" ?
if so, that's normal for demo mode, until you purchase and install the license key.

If it stays on the screen after BI startup, that's abnormal. If others have the same problem (I don't) then I'm sure support will have a fix out quickly. In the meantime you should be able to go to BI Options>Startup>Window: Quiet (minimized no splash). If you see others are in fact having the same problem, feel free to email support.
