We have a possible security issue in our building and I'm looking for a recommendation for bubble ptz cameras.

- ideally would connect via WiFi but could run cables

- good in low light

- ideally can save it's motion events to a nas

- decent interface. I've been using old Dahua PTZ cameras for other purposes that require IE. Ugh.

- ptz

Any thoughts or recommendations by chance?

Thanks for that. Does Does Dahu not offer any wifi cameras in this class?

I was hoping for a wifi camera that also has local storage as backup. I've had fantastic luck with Nest cameras, which use wifi. But the service is prohibitively expensive especially in a multi camera setup.

I don't get why people think they'd be any less reliable than wired since both store their data primarily interally. I suppose for alerts they'd potentially be less reliable, but for watching the footage through the camera's interface they'd be the same.

And furthermore I use a Nest Camera for security currently, and it has yet to miss a single motion event, that I'm aware of at least. And it gets tested by my girlfriend and myself mutliple times a day when we walk by it. But $120/year plus the price of the camera is just a bit much, especially for multiple cameras.
