I have a Trendnet TV-IP662WI and TV-IP672WI. I was looking to buy another of one of them, but it appears both have been discontinued. I mainly use them for keeping an eye on the pets while I'm away. They are portable so if I need to monitor the pets in one room or another I can just move it and plug it in wherever I need it.

- pan, tilt, zoom
- motion-triggered alerts (email) with photo/video capture
- photos: before/after motion (i.e. 2 before and 2 after the motion event)
- video: contains a few seconds before and after the motion event, including audio
- wireless
- portable as mentioned above
- night view (IR)
- nice to have: auto day/night view switch
- web app to monitor camera
- camera can be panned/tilted via app
- nice to have: ability to configure / view using Firefox or Chrome on Linux
