Hello,
I bought a house which already have 4 cameras installed with LTS LTN8708K-P8 NVR, which has total 8 channels and the manual says it support POE cameras. I am trying to add couple of cameras to the house and trying to find compatible cameras which will work right out of the box. Tried on LTS Security website also, but could not find any confirmed camera which will work with this NVR. I tried buying a POE camera (Amcrest 5MP Turret POE Camera) from Amazon, but it did not work.
Any help is appreciated.

It is best to match NVR brand with camera brand to ensure full functionality.

With that said, the Amcrest should be able to feed video to the NVR.

How did you try to add the Amcrest to it - it likely won't be plug-n-play since it isn't the same brand. You would have to manually add the camera to the NVR.

LTS is generally made by Hikivision, so you would probably have better luck with a Hikvision or OEM camera.

Keep in mind that nothing in this arena of better cameras is plug-n-play if you want the best performance.

The specs say "2 ch @ 4K, or 8 ch @ 1080p" meaning if you already have 4 each 2MP cameras (1080p) cameras you should be able to have 4 more but it depends on if yours are 2MP/1080p or not.....what are the 4 cams you have now?

Thanks for replying, I found the model number for current cameras are LTS CMIP3042-28. This is a 1080P, 1/3", 2.8mm camera, I found this same camera available in market for around $50 used. So now, first easy option is to just buy this exact camera and add it to current setup. Option 2 is to buy newer bigger sensor camera to have a better feed from this camera. For this I need help which camera will work with my NVR?
