Hey all, I'd appreciate any help you can give me, in looking for a good poe ptz camera for indoor use. Audio is a requirement, not necessarily two way though. I currently have all amcrest cameras and got these a while ago, but can't find them for reasonable price anymore, and I'm sure there's better available. ( )

I've got no serious love for amcrest other than it's what I know that works.

Trying to stay under $100, but if it's really good then I'm definitely flexible.

Thanks for your help!

Lol, mostly because I wasn't aware of that as an option. I would like something a little better than 2mp, but if they're USB powered then something similar would probably work too!

There's a 4MP version, the $60 IP4M-1041W but the 2MP's sensor is larger, likely has better low light performance.

EDIT: I see from another post by you in another thread regarding Blue Iris (I use it too). I suggest you avoid any camera using the term "Smart Home."

Thanks for the heads up on smart home cameras, I default to avoiding any "smart" devices if I can, but I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue, so I might have grabbed one if I saw a good deal.

Yeah, some can be set up with an app first to stream to Blue Iris or VLC but they don't have an embedded webGUI, so any and all setup of the cam, which is very limited, is done via the app. It's a PITA.
