I’m thinking about finally making the leap. I am eyeing a dell PowerEdge R720 server. It has 2x 2.60 GHz e5-2670, 192 GB ram and a fat 16TB WD Gold hdd. I am looking to make a few virtual machines on it. One as a file server, one as a Media server (plex) and one for Blue Iris. I am not going to put all my cameras up at once. Thinking about starting with 6? And building out from there. would this server handle all of that?
