Lost Password for Hikvision / LTS CMIP3042 - options?

I jacked my camera up when changing password and now can't get back into it. Any hacks get in? If I can get access to the camera, assuming I can do a hard reset problem is out of all my cameras this is the highest one on the house mounted on the eve and was hoping to avoid that.

Any tips are appreciated.

I’ve used many Hikvision IP cameras, and they have never been hacked so far. If you want, you can reset the password. Here’s how to reset the password for Hikvision IP cameras:

1. Log in to the Hik-Connect app that your device is linked to.
2. Go to the "Forgot Password" section and select "Verify by Hik-Connect app."
3. Scan the QR code on your device to receive a verification code.
4. Enter the verification code and create a new password.

Remember not to throw away the QR code label on the camera, as it will be needed in the future.
