I've got it down to these 4

Hikvision DS-2CD2335FWD-I
Hikivison DS-2CD2325FWD-I

Dahua DH-IPC-HDW5231R-Z
Dahua DH-IPC-HDW5231R-ZE

Looks like the two dahuas are the same and edge out the hikvision slightly.

The hikvison that needs to be replaced a DS-2CD2332 is rated at 0.07Lux @ (F1.2, AGC ON) ,0 Lux with IR.
I don't think i would see any difference at night with any of these 4 cameras.

The two Dahua's are essentially the same camera. The ZE is the newer version

I'n not an expert but I believe the HIK would have the edge based on specs, which may or may not be accurate for either manufacturer ;)

Dahua 0.006Lux/F1.6
HiK 0.005 Lux @ (F1.2, AGC ON)

IMO, HIK specs can be weird because they'll list two different F-values for a fixed-lens camera. How does that work?!

Yeah how does that work? Where is the best place to buy the Dahua Aliexpress? I like the idea of the varifocal lens.

In my experience nobody gets the specs entirely right on any camera, so there is no substitute for side-by-side comparisons.

I read the post about the two Dahua cameras they looked the same only difference being the camera style/look.

Have you checked out IPCT's very own turret, low light cam here ?

I received mine Tuesday and am anxious to get it mounted. So far, on the bench, I'd say it's a keeper. Stays in color mode when ambient light is VERY low.

What model HIK is that?
