I am confused about Dahua model numbers for their traffic cams.
Perhaps someone could guide me?
I am trying to learn about ANPR, and I am afraid I might make some expensive mistakes.
I have seen this model at a good price: DHI-ITC237-PU1A-IRHL
And I have seen this model as well: Dahua ITC237-PU1B-IR
I can't find the difference between the models, but according to Dahua wiki the Dahua ITC237-PU1B-IR is a "licence plate capture" camera, not a "licence plate recognition" camera.
I have the latest EI version of NVR, so what between LPR and LPC do I need?
I am not sure about the distinction.
Do I need third-party software for access control of my gate with an LPC camera?
Secondly, Andy now sells a later model: ITC437-PW6M-IZ-GN,
Which camp does this fall into? ( LPC or LPR)
