Hi I came upon several of these cameras.
I was wondering how good these are. The GUI looks very similar to Hikvision. Is it an OEM rebadged? Does anyone know the equivalent Hikvision model? Maybe it may be possible to flash the Hikvision firmware to get H265 feature.

For a dome camera they are right down the middle, not too bad. The 1/2.8" sensor is at least on par with many 2MP cams (should NOT be any smaller for decent night performance).

The rub is they are domes which can cause issues, especially as they age and UV + smog attacks the dome and fogs it. Or moisture + dust sticks to even a new dome and blurs it, calling for periodic cleaning. Or at night IR leaks past the foam ring that is around the lens or the IR hits the fogged up dome and bounces back into the sensor, causing glare, etc.

Yes, they are most likely re-branded Hikvision. Not sure about the equivalent Hikvision model or flashing the F/W with any Hikvision F/W so I'll defer that question to more capable members.

Firmware best advice, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Would love to put Hikvision camera to get H265 encoding or at the very least their H264+ codec option. LTS seems to have disable H264+ with their firmware. Recordings are much large means less historical archive.
