We have a four channel Luma 510 NVR. About 6 times each day we hear a beep and the nvr goes offline and we cannot access the cameras. After a few minutes the cameras come back on.. Is this normal or is there something malfunctioning with our nvr?

Are the cameras POE (get power from the NVR)?
Does the NVR have an external DC power supply?

P.S. -Welcome to IPCT!

Yes the cameras are plugged into the nvr and there is an external power supply. I view the cameras on the Luma app and also Control4.

Welcome to IPCT, are you plugged in to the outlet or into a power strip? @TonyR maybe suggesting the power strip may be going bad. If your plugged into a power strip i am suggesting a bad power strip or APC battery backup strip is going bad. If not those things it may be the NVR having issues.

I'm looking for the easiest thing to check and that would be the external power supply. If it's a switching type and not linear you can't accurately check the rated output voltage unless there's a load on it.
Does the power supply have an LED indicator on it?
Is it 48 VDC?
