I had a LuxPro system installed about 5 years ago at my business and I can no longer download the app to view the cameras from my phone ( just upgraded my phone). I've searched online for tech support and it almost looks like this company is out of business. Are there any other apps that I can use to view my cameras or do I need to upgrade the system? If upgraded is needed, what is recommended?

I would dump it and reuse the Network cabling to the same locations, But I"m way past NVRs into Blue Iris as a video monitoring tool. so won't recommend anything. others will reply soon I'm sure.
I have both an Amcrest NVR and my Blue Iris computer. The Amcrest View pro is an consumer lever App for that NVR that my Sister in law can navigate. She is not techie.
I think I'm techie, but only a wanna be with some networking classes and computer classes under my belt 24 years ago :)

i'm not too tech savy, can i use the existing cameras that i have with the Amcrest NVR ? I'm trying to do this with the least possible amount of work !!

If they are IP cameras ( RJ-45 on the end of the cable) You can usually get other brands to be recognized.
I have 3 different brand names of cameras on my Amcrest NVR. 4108 model.
if your cameras were all plugged into the back of the NVR thats a POE model
read the reviews, and read the product description.
If you have Cheap cameras no point in buying a high end NVR, unless your going to upgrade them.
