Last night I witnessed a man punching a woman several times, she screamed for help and I immediately dialed 911. I was placed on hold even before speaking with a dispatcher, I ended up hanging up. I can’t imagine if I was not home, one of my kids or my wife’s life was in danger and they needed to call 911. The LAPD really needs to hire more 911 dispatchers. After watching the video carefully you can see the woman was pulling up her underwear, I don’t think she was being raped. The victim and the suspect appear to know each other and I believe the woman is a transient living in her minivan.
