Hi all
I just ordered a Dell Optlplex SFF which has Windows 11 on it

So thinking of giving WIndows 11 a go with it. WOuld it be best to set BI up from scratch or import my settings via reg key from my current Windows 10 Pro machine running BI 5?

It is always best to build from scratch to prevent hidden problems that may potentially follow over. Plus sometimes not everything follows over.

Doesn't mean you can't do the import.

Make sure you deregister your license first and then if not current on support only load the version you are eligible to have.

As stated above here are the steps,

1. De register your license

2. Backup and export your config file

3.Fresh install win11

4. Download and reinstall BI

5. Import your Config

6. Re Register your BI key

You will be back up and running in no time with very little down time.

If your support has expired make sure you have a version of the update that was released at or before the expiry date else your system will go into eval mode.
