Hi All,
I've ordered a NVR5208 to replace my NVR4108
Is it possible to use the USB back up from my NVR4108 to restore to my new NVR5208 ?
This would save loads of time setting up the cameras again and trip wires.
I also noticed that the NVR5208 has 2 HDD interfaces.
Do they both need to be the same size HDD as on a raid array or is the 2nd HDD for another reason?

Not Likely you can import a config file from 2 different model NVR's , You might be sorry you tried but my best guess is a BIG NO. You should be able to use 2 different size drives with no issues.

It would be better to setup each camera's IVS rules in each camera's web UI. Also, seeing that you're using the PoE ports on the back of the NVR, a PoE switch would not hurt; would make it easier for you to configure and provision each camera to and fro your computer and NVR.
