Hello
I already have a great CCTV system using BI Hikvision and Dahua mixture. Works great
We have alot of break in's in our neigbourhood lately and these pricks dont care about CCTV they casually walk past them
Really only good for some evidence but they still hide their faces well

anyway I am looking to add some sort of motion detect loud motion alarm that will wake me up if they do try to break in
We live on a corner block and in Australia ( we I live) we do have 2 meter fences but they can easily jump those

So I was a motion detection alarm at the back corner of my yard as its a good spot for them to jump over and go into my backyard to look around
There is no power there though so need something with battery and something I can schedule to arm at night and when I am away
Need to also be bird immune as we get alot of birds in our yard looking for food scraps

Is there anything around like this?
I would like to mount it on the inside of the fence as they would have to walk past it to go into my back yard area

Thanks !

These are piure PIR but work very well.

The two keys are

1- Set the max distance with little dip switches. 3 distances to choose from if I recall right, Mine are all the shortest (13ft?)
2- Don't aim it at the ground or you'll get large critters. Humans are almost always taller than critters, so aim it waist to chest high on a human.

I have had 2 false alarms this year. Both times a big raccoon stood up on a chair by the door and thus was over waist high. My buddy has a similar system but fancier, Bosch i think, and was $300-$400 but he still gets the occasional false alarm as well. How much do you want to spend on perfection?

I've used Guardline units as perimeter alarms for years. Inexpensive and they just work.

I dont see them on the OZ Amazon store

But these are very similar. Damn your prices down there are bad
I had a look but couldnt find any schedule options? We want them in our backyard and we always play there and I do stuff there during the and evening
Need something to only arm say from 12am to 5am
