I have one of my cameras set at a farther distance and many things pass in front of it. I only want when someone enters the gate and not when anyone goes out. Can I set it to do something like if the subject travels from point a to b it will trigger but from point b to point a not? I have the same issue on one of my doors. I want a shot of them coming up the walk not when they are going away. Is there a tutorial or does anyone have any screen shots of this. Thanks.
Motion dectection issue

Try drawing two Zones in the Motion Detection part of the camera's properties, and then set the Object Detection for B>A or however it works out for you.
If you haven't already seen it, Blue Iris has a very good help file (in comparison to what ships with Dahua/Hikivision NVRs).
