Does anyone know if it's possible to get a Hikvision NVR to display two RTSP streams that come from the same IP and port, but have different URLs? I have two ubiquity Unifi cameras I'm trying to incorporate into this NVR (DS-9632NI-I8) via the unifi software's RTSP output. It generates a unique URL for each on port 7447, but I can only get one to work at a time, so my theory is that the NVR can't handle two cameras on the same IP/port even though it doesn't kick any error other than "can't get stream". Can anyone confirm if that's a known limitation?

How can it have two different URLs? The URL is made up of the NVR IP address, the RTSP port number and the channel number.

Each camera has it's own dynamically generated URL.

Camera 1 high resolution rtsp://192.168.126.202:7447/5ac76c7437cc66b83dfc6831_0
Camera 2 high resolution rtsp://192.168.126.202:7447/59bb440a37cc08496eab3d5a_0

etc.

I believe you can only have one RTSP session per camera port. I doesn’t matter how many URLs are assigned to the port. Try this connect the camera directly to you router. Connect to the first URL using a tablet, computer, or phone. Then try connecting to the second URL with another phone, table or computer.

The IP 192.168.126.202 is the NVR. Ubiquity disables RTSP on their cameras and then gives it to you as a service of the NVR.

I can connect to all 5 of the cameras via RTSP through the ubiquity NVR with VLC concurrently on the internal LAN using each URL but I can't get more than one at a time to connect on the Hikvision NVR.

If I were to get rid of the Ubiquity NVR, I could put each camera in stand alone mode, then I would have a different IP for each RTSP feed, and I'm sure that would solve the problem, but I was hoping to keep the ubiquity NVR managing those cameras.
